Somewhere I can see. Somewhere not completely surrounded by houses or trees. Unfortunately, that is all I can see right now. I like my house, and usually I'm content, but sometimes I miss the wide open expanse that is Idaho. My part of Idaho anyway. I like to see the sunrise and the sunset, and I like valleys of fields surrounded by low rolling hills. Or no hills at all. Here in Southern Oregon though, everything is mountains and trees. It's beautiful, but sometimes it just isn't what I want.

There are a few amazing little valleys around where I live though and if I could, I would buy one in a hearbeat. They are green year round, and covered in fields and pastures. In the fall and winter everything takes on a darker cast, with blues and greens popping out everywhere. And while there are still mountains, they're in the distance, right where I like them.Then the fog settles around them, you can see clouds all across the sky, and it just takes my breath away. That's where I want to be, but even if I can't be there now, maybe someday it will happen. Let's all cross our fingers, shall we?
